These are very high quality and really comfortable. I'm a true 8.5 and purchased the 8 and they fit perfectly. I would not size up these as they would be too big. I do have narrow feet so perhaps if yours are wide/very wide, it might help

These slippers do not run small. I don't know who said to order a size up but they must have really fat feet. These run really true to size so don't order up unless you want to waste all that shipping money!
